Summary: Overseas Per Diem does not collect any data. Your trips, daily logs and receipt photos are stored only on your device. There is no account, no analytics, no advertising and no tracking.

Data on your device

• Trips and daily logs: places, dates, rules, meals provided, room costs and notes you enter are saved in the app's private storage on your iPhone or iPad. They are included in your device backups (iCloud or computer) if you have backups turned on; we have no access to them.
• Receipt photos: photos you take with the camera or choose from your library are copied into the app's private storage. The app asks for camera access only when you tap "Take a receipt photo". Choosing a photo uses the system photo picker, which shares only the photo you pick.
• Exports: PDF and CSV summaries are created on your device and shared only where you send them with the share sheet.
• Favorites and settings are stored on your device.

Network requests

The only network request the app makes is the optional rates update: once a day (you can turn this off in About), or when you tap "Check for new rates", the app downloads a public file from perdiem-data.eralpbayraktar.com. The request contains no identifiers, trip data or personal information. Like any web server, our server and Cloudflare, Inc. (our content delivery network) process the connecting IP address to deliver the file; our server keeps standard access logs for up to 14 days for security and operations, and we do not use them to identify anyone. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in delivering current rates securely).

Links you open from the app (this policy, support, e-mail) open in your browser or mail app and are governed by those apps.

What we do not do

We do not collect names, e-mail addresses, locations, device identifiers or usage statistics, do not use cookies or advertising identifiers, and do not sell or share data. The app contains no third-party SDKs.

Children

The app is not directed at children and collects no data from anyone.

Your rights

Because we hold no personal data from the app, there is nothing to access or delete on our side; deleting the app deletes all its data from your device. You can contact us at [email protected] and you may complain to a data protection supervisory authority.

Changes

We will update this page if the app's data practices change; the date above shows the current version.
